Canadian Actress Kim Roberts's lengthy career encompasses over 200 stage, film, television and voice credits. Notable appearances include Paw Patrol, The Handmaid’s Tale, The Strain, Schitt’s Creek, and The Sinner. Until September 28th, she’s now appearing in Stratford, ON at The Studio Theatre at The Stratford Festival as “Margaret Whyte” in the play ‘Get That Hope’. It’s Jamaican Independence Day. Richard Whyte is determined to celebrate it in style. The rice is soaking, the ginger beer is cooling and today his lottery ticket is finally going to hit it big! But Richard’s squabbling family have other ideas, and over the course of a single sweltering day in Toronto’s Little Jamaica, a lifetime of buried secrets and dreams finally come to light. ‘Get That Hope’ is a bittersweet drama of personal and cultural diasporas that brims with laughter and tears.
