Three years ago, a freak accident changed my life forever. In this deeply personal Janette Behind-the-Scenes, I invite you to join me following my latest appointment with the Pain Management team at Toronto Western Hospital. Living with a disability isn't always visible. Every day I navigate chronic nerve damage, swelling, inflammation, shooting pain, numbness, and an ongoing deformity in my right foot. These challenges affect my mobility, my independence, my work, and even the simplest daily activities. But they don't define me. They don't change who I am. They don't change what I'm capable of accomplishing. Despite these challenges, I continue interviewing celebrities and industry leaders, hosting events, producing Janette's TV Podcast, creating content, caring for my elderly mother, and building my career. This segment isn't about asking for sympathy. It's about raising awareness. It's about resilience. It's about adapting. It's about proving that disability does not equal inability. If you're living with chronic pain, navigating an invisible disability, caring for someone you love, or simply facing a difficult season in life, I hope my story reminds you that your circumstances never determine your worth. Thank you for joining me Behind-the-Scenes. Please Like, Comment, Subscribe and Share this episode to help raise awareness about chronic pain, invisible disabilities, accessibility, and resilience.
