Prior to moving from behind the camera to in front of them, Janette spent 17 years behind the camera as the Founding Publicist of Prime Time PR and Editor of PRtalk, Canada’s only online PR Magazine. As a publicist, she taught PR Courses at The Learning Annex and spoke at several events across the Greater Toronto Area. While devising her client’s media strategies, media pitches, press materials, print, radio, TV, Satellite, and Internet media placements, she maintained her own monthly PR column in The York Region Business Times for 4 years in a row and was also featured in several other publications and blogs.
In addition, she appeared on local, regional, and national radio & TV Shows, serving as a Media Marketing guest expert. This led to her recurring ‘Magnetic Marketing Moment’ segment, becoming co-host of That Channel’s flagship show, Liquid Lunch and her starting I’m Every Woman! TV on the AllTalk TV and XS Networks. She then developed Janette’s I’m Every Woman! TV for 8 Seasons before rebranding to Janette’s TV & Podcast for Seasons 9, 10, and 11.
